The older I get the more I realise how important it is to invest in my wardrobe rather than buying quick fixes. As much as I’ve been swayed by the lure of the high street, I feel like my shopping habits are making a switch. I want to put more focus on quality pieces that will last me a lifetime.
One thing I really want to upgrade is my handbag collection. Since being quarantined I’ve been organising everything, listing clothes on eBay and setting pieces aside to give to charity. In doing that, I’ve realised the only things I want to keep are the classic staples. A prime example, the Luna Amani bag I bought last year. I use it all the time, it’s really versatile and it’s so well made that it still looks perfect. A way better investment than the countless Topshop finds which have fallen apart.
In my search for some new bags and new designers, I’ve found a few steals that I’ve added to my wishlist. They’re all under £300 and in classic colours and shapes that will last several seasons.
