These last few months have been so crazy that logging back into Style Rarebit feels a bit weird! I’ve been really focused on getting Rarebit Social (my new business, YAY!) up and running that posting outfit posts had to take a bit of a back seat. That being said, I’ve still been taking snaps of my outfits, so I thought I would round them up together and share them in one post. I’ve been wearing these a lot and hopefully it will give you guys some inspiration…
1. SHIRT DRESS AND THIGH BOOTS
I wear this dress a lot, thanks to the fact that it’s really comfy and that the utility trend is one of my favourites. I also like to pair it with some thigh boots to give it a sexier feel, especially now that I have such a ‘mom’ haircut. This mint green colour is also a good investment, I’ve seen loads of it coming through in the new collections for spring so it’s definitely not going anywhere.
2. CHUNKY KNIT AND LEATHER TROUSERS
I wear this look to work and it’s such a comfy outfit that’s ideal for travelling or when you want to feel cosy. I’m also very much converted to wearing leather leggings as they look way more put together than a cotton pair. Layer a chunky jumper and a chic coat over the top and you’re good to go, so simple!
3. LEATHER SHIRT AND LEGGINGS
The leather shirt trend is such a chic look for winter and an easy one to layer up too. I paired it with some leggings and over the knee boots but it looks just as good over a dress or with some trainers. I liked that this one has a waist belt though as it helps to give you some more definition.
4. CYCLE SHORTS AND TRAINERS
This jacket is one of my favourites and I have it in black and brown because it’s so useful with all those pockets. I love pairing it with some seriously comfy cycle shorts and a pair of trainers for those days when I have loads to do but just want to be comfy.
5. SILK SLIP AND A CARDIGAN
This orange slip dress is very far out of my comfort zone but with a chunky cardigan and some boots it’s an easy everyday outfit. I want to pick up a few more, maybe in more muted tones that I can wear under coats and cardigans, as they’re so easy to style.
