It’s crazy how different getting dressed is when it’s freezing outside. All of a sudden you care less about co-ordinating as you’re desperately trying to cram on as many layers as possible before venturing outside. Not to mention the struggle to leave your fluffy dressing gown behind!
Dressing for the cold can be such a nightmare if you want to avoid looking frumpy but still want to be warm. It’s all about layering the right pieces and choosing the right fabrics to get the balance between looking good but still being warm right. This is where the humble jumper dress comes in, a wardrobe classic that’s as cosy as it is easy to style.
You can layer a thermal polo neck underneath and then layer it up again with a long coat or a blazer and it’s surprisingly warm. You could definitely wear tights with it too or some leather trousers if it’s really cold. I actually picked up another one in grey last week and I have no regrets!
This gorgeous jumper dress was gifted to me by Femme Luxe Finery. Be sure to check out their gorgeous collection of christmas party dresses, co ords, satin dresses and glitter dresses just in time for the Christmas party season!
Looove how you’ve paired this with ankle boots – it looks gorge on you! xx
