- You will know someone who will waltz into a job… but it won’t be you.
- You’ll feel like a failure, even though you’ve just spent 3 years of solid work to get to this point.
- Everyone and their dog will ask you what your ‘plan’ is.
- You’ll be rejected 1000000 times before you get your first break.
- People will suggest hysterical alternative career paths for you… private investigator? dog groomer? That’s what your £30,000 in debt for right?
- You’ll watch people with less talent than you get the job you want.
- You’ll spend a lot of time complaining about your situation, to other people who are in exactly the same boat, but none of you will know what to do.
- You’ll seriously start to consider those alternative career paths… Scrubbing poodles wouldn’t be so bad would it?
- You think every job you apply for is, THE ONE.
- You finally have time to do all those things you didn’t have time to while you were studying… but you won’t, you have Netflix watching to get done, PRIORITIES.
- You’ll seriously miss getting your student loan, but you’ll still spend like it’s in your account anyways.
Sounds like it sucks to be a post-grad! The job market is so intense for you guys…. wish I had some advice to help you. But dog grooming does sound like fun!
Aw I know, but it will get better! And true, it really doesn’t sound that bad hehe x
